This spring, Unlimited, Inc. Vice President, John Maniaci, participated in a friendly competition to promote wellness. John, a one time, two pack a day smoker, is an avid runner, swimmer and bike rider. He quit smoking on January 13, 1989 and ran his first marathon (26.2 miles) in September of 1995. Since 1995, he has run in 19 more marathons, done four 50K (31 miles) trail runs, three Ironmans (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run) and countless other runs, bike rides, swims and triathlons. John continues to work out 10 hours a week, including riding his bike into work (12 miles one way). There's no question as to why he was named the Fittest CEO over 50 in southeastern Wisconsin. |
